The hard work of our staff, whose efforts consistently drive us to break our records year on year, has been instrumental in facilitating the growth that Watson Ramsbottom has been able to enjoy.
Recognising the pivotal role our people play in this success and our continued commitment to career progression, we are excited to announce several role changes that we would like to formalise.
Directors
Ben Ashworth has now been appointed as a Director. Ben has has a wealth of knowledge in several matters relating to property, such as: Residential property transactions, freehold purchases, transfers of equity & also manages our re-mortgages department.
Ben has been a leading figure at our New Riverside Legal office in London since its introduction almost 12 months ago. Prior to the move down south, Ben played a pivotal role in the success and growth of our Barnoldswick office, managing the team & overseeing the office grow from strength to strength.

Emma Walker has now been appointed as a Director. Emma is based at our Steeles office in Clitheroe and specialises in private client matters such as wills, probate, estate planning and care fees planning.
Emma joined Watson Ramsbottom in 2009 after completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Central Lancashire and has become an expert in her chosen field. She has progressed from solicitor to associate and senior associate, to now becoming a director.

Senior Associate Solicitors
Ben Baron has been promoted to Senior Associate Solicitor. Ben initially joined the practice in 2016 after graduating with an LLB (Hons) Law Degree, working as a Conveyancing Executive.
Originally based at our Darwen branch, Ben recently relocated to Bristol with wife Hannah, who leads the office in the South West!

Senior Conveyancing Executives
Dominic Greenall has been promoted to Senior Conveyancing Executive.
Dominic has a wealth of experience in the Conveyancing field, focusing on residential property.
Dominic is a key member of our conveyancing department at our Darwen office and an integral part of the team.

Kerry King has also been promoted to Senior Conveyancing Executive.
Kerry plays a huge role at our Hapton office, leading the team to a lot of success over a short period.
Specialising in Conveyancing, her experience in the field is a real driving force behind the success of our Hapton office.

Stacey Marshall has also been promoted to Senior Conveyancing Executive.
Based at our Accrington branch, Stacey is an invaluable member of our Conveyancing department!
Having previously worked within an an Estate Agency, Stacey gained a full understanding of the process of buying and selling houses. She joined us initially as a Conveyancing Assistant then after a number of years progressed to the role of Conveyancing Executive. Today she becomes a Senior Conveyancing Executive.

Associate Solicitors
Sisca Tehnokratsia has been promoted to Associate Solicitor.
Sisca is a key member of our Baldwin Wyatt team in Burnley. She deals with a plethora of legal matters, ranging from residential conveyancing and re-mortgages, to independent legal advice, to private client matters and commercial property transactions.
Sisca now becomes and Associate Solicitor.

Sim Sanger has been promoted to Associate Solicitor.
Sim has been a key member of our New Riverside Legal team down in London.
Sim prides herself on being naturally detail-oriented, but also loves problem-solving and finding practical solutions that make clients’ lives easier. Whether it’s tackling a tricky transaction or ensuring smooth communication between all parties.

Deborah Orritt has also been promoted to Associate Solicitor.
Deborah is an experienced property solicitor who joined us in 2024, quickly establishing herself as an important part of our team at Lytham.
Having qualified as a solicitor in 2016, Deborah has worked in property conveyancing ever since, acting regularly on a wide range of transactions including freeholds, leaseholds, new build property transactions and leasehold apartments.
