Samiah is a Legal Executive specialising in Family Law. She works within our domestic abuse and children law team. Samiah achieved a degree in Law in 2011 and has been working in Family Law for 8 years.

Previously Samiah has worked for the Probation Service, the Magistrate’s court and as an Independent Custody Visitor for Lancashire Police. Samiah has worked on cases where children have been removed from the care of parents due to child neglect and emotional harm. For example, where children have been physically/emotionally abused, injured or been exposed to domestic violence between parents.

Samiah has also worked on cases where clients have been subjected to domestic abuse and harassment and required urgent protection from the Court by way of Non Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders. Samiah also attends pre proceedings meetings with parents when children services have become involved and expressed concerns.

In November 2020 Samiah completed the Cilex Course to qualify as a Legal Executive.

Samiah is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi.
