Biography

Merveille originally joined our Family Team in Blackburn as a Legal Secretary before becoming a Paralegal in the Summer of 2025.

In her current role, Merveille supports Solicitor’s Samantha Norse and Jessica Lloyd across a broad range of matters, with a particular focus on children proceedings and domestic abuse cases.

As part of her role, Merveille assists with the preparation and drafting of initial court applications, including C100 and FL401 applications, as well as witness statements.  Merveille reviews and analyses evidence, prepares court bundles, undertakes legal research, and assists with the preparation of cases for hearings. She takes particular care to ensure that documentation is accurate, comprehensive, up to date, and prepared in accordance with relevant court procedures and requirements.

Merveille is also actively involved in the day-to-day progression of cases, liaising directly with clients, counsel, and other professionals and third parties. Merveille’s hands-on involvement enables her to support matters from the initial stages of proceedings through to hearing preparation, while working closely with solicitor’s to ensure cases are progressed efficiently and effectively.

Recognising that family law matters often arise during particularly difficult and sensitive periods in a client’s life, Merveille places great importance on providing a professional, compassionate, and approachable service. She is committed to ensuring that clients feel listened to, informed, and supported throughout the legal process.

Merveille has a keen interest in family law and is committed to continually developing her legal knowledge and practical experience, while delivering a consistently high standard of client care.
