Biography
Hugh joined the New Riverside Legal team as a Conveyancing Assistant in the Summer of 2026.
Prior to graduating in 2025, Hugh Worked as a litigation assistant in 2017 and 2020 – this role primarily involved advising defrauded clients of another legal practice with the steps towards reparations.
Hugh graduated from Newcastle University in 2025 with a 2/1 in History & Politics – Then went on to work as an intern with the NGO Kdei Karuna in Phnom Penh, Cambodia – aiding in a number of roles – key amongst which was the collection and charting of new sources of funding following the cutting of USAID in the region.
Here, Hugh’s roles include: administrative duties, handling client phone calls and file documentation
Outside of work, Hugh enjoys playing a variety of sports, spending time with friends/family & playing the guitar.
