As Christmas approaches, at Steele & Son we’re thinking of those children who Santa may not visit.

Women’s refuges provide support to women at times they need it most. We have several in our local area, all of which are assisting women and children escaping domestic abuse.

Led by Zoe Allen in our Family Department, we want to take this additional pressure off those affected in this way, and ensure that every child in our local women’s refuge receives a present without exception.

HOW YOU CAN HELP…

We’re looking for donations of toys for children aged from new born up to 16 years.

We will also gladly accept any gifts or toiletries we can give to the women as well as their children.

Ideal things to donate include: Sanitary products, Toothbrushes/Toothpaste, Lip Balm, Underwear, Deodorant, Body Sprays, Shower/Bath Gel, Soap, Face Cloth/Flannels, Bobbles/hair clips/brushes, Moisturiser, Note pads, puzzles/colouring books, pens/pencils/crayons, shampoo/conditioner, nappies/wipes, Nail files

Please note that as we are looking to provide Christmas presents, we are looking for new or unopened products in this instance; any gifts donated should not be second hand.

Please however ensure these reach us on or before Friday 13^th December.
