Bamber Bridge, a local Non-League Football Club is in dire need of some support!
Unfortunately, Bamber Bridge Football club has fallen on hard times recently.
Dwindling attendances, expensive running costs & lack of sponsorship has seen people connected to the club reach out for financial support.
This financial support will prove vital in order to save the club, which is pivotal to the local community & an escape from the bright lights of professional league football for some.
The club are in need of support to the tune of £30,000 just to stay afloat this season.
Having offices dotted all around Lancashire, Bamber Bridge Football club is close to home for some of us and provides none other than Solicitor Mellisa Garswood with great memories when she’s not at Deepdale watching her beloved Preston North End.
Mellisa has been at the forefront of the rally cry for support for the Football club & is proud a proud member of the committee!
Mel & her family find themselves down at the ground, digging in when help is needed, supporting a local Football club simply due to their love for the game.
If you can help with Mellisa’s fight then please donate to the GoFundMe page HERE

It was a spare of the moment decision to attend a non-league game, and the rest is history. Bamber Bridge FC is an integral part of the local community and the togetherness is like nothing else. Unfortunately, the club has fallen on hard times due to dwindling attendances and increasing running costs, which is why the go fund me page has been set up to save our club. Together we’re fighting to ensure that there’s a club for future generations and to get new blood through the turnstiles. Any help would be greatly appreciated to help achieve this and continue the proud history of this club
Mellisa has featured in the local & national media recently regarding this story & will be featured in The Lancashire Evening Post this weekend.
